Abstract
Pimenta dioica (L.) Merr. of Myrtaceae the leaves are high flavours and fragrance. They are used in all parts of the world as food, flavours and medicinal uses. The present study provides comprehensive microscopic details of the leaves and histochemical localization of the aroma compounds. The study fills the lacuna in the account of previous investigations.
